Non-contact temperature measurements enable the surface temperature of the body to be identified without contact between the person and the sensor. It is based on the optical analysis of the infrared radiation emitted by the measurement device. The radiation is focused through a lens onto a detector which translates it into an electrical signal. This is then converted proportionally to the object temperature through signal processing.
Measurement of moving, hard-to-reach, or very hot objects.
Very short measurement and response times.
Non-destructive technology. Longevity of measuring point; no wear and tear.
Option for measuring even at high voltages and surrounded by electromagnetic fields or aggressive materials.
