Project Overview

The Solio was the market defining product from Better Energy Systems, one that created a market place and set the bar for sustainable product design, development and manufacture.​

By “Plugging into the Sun” the Solio allowed all mobile devices up to and including notebook computers to be powered exclusively from the sun, all from a pocket-sized portable device​.

The Solio Classic was recognised by the Fraunhofer Institute as being the first consumer product to be defined as a “global net producer of energy” in that it produced more energy than it consumed in its manufacture and distribution.

One Point Zero assisted Better Energy Systems with a full supply chain solution facilitating all aspects of the clients business requirement.​

This included the redesign of all aspects of their electronic engineering package through to the establishment of a high quality, nimble hardware supply chain solution allowing the client the versatility it needed to drive the growth of the then fledgling market.
